This receiver is precision machined from a solid billet of 7075 aluminum. It’s engineered to exceed your expectations with the features you need in an upper receiver. The M4 feed ramps were machined before the anodizing process. Flared side walls eliminate accidental bolt release issues and it was machined to allow for the Magpul BAD lever or other aftermarket bolt release levers. A forward assist and the ejection port door are already preinstalled for you and it accepts most aftermarket rail systems. This beefy design is cut to be lightweight but offers less flex than a standard forged upper. Originally designed for and ideally suited to the Spikes Gen II Lower, this precision-cut upper will mount to any standard spec forged lower.
