Pre-Owned – 1918 Colt 1911 .45ACP 5″ Handgun

A faithful reproduction of the WWI Model 1911 U.S. Military sidearm. Colts 1911 World War I pistol features 5″ barrel with wide hood, WWI style manual thumb and grip safety, tapered blade front sight, one 7 round magazine and a US holster. Manufactured in October 1918, this desirable example of a U.S. Colt Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol has the distinctive blue-black “Black Army” finish. The “Black Army” finish was adopted by Colt in mid-1918 to expedite production. The overall condition is great for a century-old firearm. It does have some rust spots and handling marks, but that just gives character to the history of this model. Great piece to add to the collection!
