The LWRC SMG 45 is a new compact, ergonomic and light weight weapon designed to keep the same ergonomics and handling of an AR-15 with the low recoil a versatility of the .45acp cartridge. Constructed to be as durable as your trusted AR-15 the SMG 45 is manufactured from steel and aluminum with a hard coat anodized nickel boron surface treatments. The Heart of the SMG 45 is its proprietary and unique short recoil/delayed blowback operating mechanism reducing recoil while maintaining an extremely light 5.9lb package. Featuring a fully user configurable rail system at the 3,6 and 9 o’clock positions and integrated hand stop the SMG-45 is adaptable to almost any use. Adding to the versatility of this firearm it has fully ambidextrous lower controls with an LWRCI Ultra Combat Grip and paddle style magazine release.
