Coliat
The firearm is known as “Coliat” or commonly referred to as “Goliat” by many. Its exact origin remains uncertain, but it is believed to be from Spain. The external appearance resembles a Colt Army Special, and it was manufactured by Antonio Errasti in Eibar, Spain. While some may draw comparisons to a Smith & Wesson, its lockwork follows the Colt style, including the cylinder release operation. Production of these revolvers continued until around 1918, shortly after World War I. This Spanish pistol exhibits superior quality, with around 98/99% of its original blue finish intact, and it showcases excellent mechanical function and bore condition. With a 4-inch barrel and pressed horn grips, this “Coliat” or “Goliat” revolver stands as a significant historical piece. – C&R
