Manufactured circa 1867-1868, this is an example of Type I, Transitional (aka Model 1 First Variant) over/under Remington derringer. Remington manufactured only about 100 of these derringers. All nickel finish, blade front, and notch rear sights and fitted with black grips. There is rust over most of the firearm.

This shotgun has a 30″ barrel, an adjustable cast/comb, full chokes, over/under action and 2-3/4″ chambers. This deal also comes with a hard plastic case, a Briley choke tube set, two screw-in chokes and a lot more accessories. The Briley choke tube set comes with four full-length choke tubes (2-.616, 2-.552), choke wrenches and a choke gauge. There are some scratches on the inside of the barrel once the gun is opened, but unnoticeable when it is closed.
