Offered here is modern Italian craftsmanship at it finest! Single bead sight on a matte solid rib, ejectors, 3 inch chambers and full/full chokes. An engraved band of floral blossoms appears on the barrels at the breech. The action, upper tang and extended lower trigger guard feature magnificent relief engraved scrollwork on matte background. Highly detailed and impressive Bulino engraved game bird scenes featuring a covey of bobwhite quail with a cabin scene background on the right lock plate, three teal in flooded timber on the left, ruffed grouse flying through the Northern woods on the underside of the action, as well as a single bobwhite quail on the break lever and a single ruffed grouse on the trigger guard. Each pinless lock plate is signed “Inc. GFP” as well as “MAASS” within the game scenes. Gianfranco Pedersoli’s signature is also near the trigger: “INCISORE/GF PEDERSOLI.” The engraved forearm hardware is signed “S Lucchini/ITALY.” Italian proofs are present. The action has removable firing pin disks, a single trigger and manual tang safety with gold inlaid “S.” The highly figured forearm and straight grip stock with tear drop flats have fine multi-point checkering. The fine checkering extends to the bare butt. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/8 inches, drop at heel 2 7/8 inches, length of pull 14 1/2 inches, weight 5 lbs. 10 oz.

Single bead sight on the smooth concave rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, standard Italian proofs on the flats, automatic ejectors, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. The receiver features deeply incised floral and scroll patterns with game scene engraved lock plates with ducks on the right, a pointer and two grouse on the left, and a single woodcock on the underside. The dogs and birds are rendered in fine gold inlay, and the left lock is signed “Bregoli INC”. With dual triggers and sliding tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with engraved fittings, blank initial oval, and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .620/.620 inch; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. With leather bound Huey takedown case, canvas case cover, and cleaning tools. Excellent overall with 99% plus original blue finish, sharp detailed engraving, attractive figure, crisp checkering, and some small dings on the wood. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with some dings on the exterior.
