Walk the Course
The Opener
A gentle going-away pair off the pavilion — room to settle the gun before the woods close in.
Going-Away Pair
The Rise
A left-to-right crosser from the raised stand — find your rhythm and let the lead build.
Crossing Pair
The Climb
A stairway to a stand perched above the grade — a driven bird breaking off the ridge.
Driven · High House
The Hardwoods
A quartering chandelle through bare timber — it turns belly-up just as you mount.
Chandelle
The Pines
A high incomer dropping through the evergreens — take it early or run out of sky.
Dropping Incomer
The Valley
A two-story post over the low ground — high incomers that drop fast through the treeline.
High Tower · Crossers
The Notch
A fast crosser threading the gap in the timber — a narrow window and no second look.
Fast Crosser
The Edge
A quartering pair off the woodline — read the lead early and stay in the gun.
Quartering Pair
The Covered Stand
Springing teal from the timber — a vertical climb that asks for patience at the top.
Springing Teal
The Flush
A fast rabbit and a battue on report — low and skittering, then flat and fading.
Rabbit · Battue
The Overlook
A looping outgoer over the slope — it hangs at the top, then drops away behind the rail.
Looping Outgoer
The Crossing
A long crossing pair over open ground — the kind of distance that rewards a smooth swing.
Long Crosser
The Hollow
A teal-and-crosser combination on report — two birds, two planes, one mount.
Teal · On Report
The Ledge
A battue fading off the rail — flat and bright on edge, gone the instant it turns.
Fading Battue
The Meadow
A long incomer driving in over the open ground — plenty of room to read it before the shot.
Driven Incomer
The Birches
A high quarterer through the birch tops — it threads the timber and is gone in a blink.
High Quarterer
The Perch
Up the stairs to a raised platform — a driven pair off the height, the closest thing to a tower stand.
Elevated · Driven
The Marsh
A low skimmer crossing the wet ground — flat and fast, hugging the grass the whole way.
Low Crosser
The Tower Finale
The last word — a two-story covered tower with driven pairs to close the card.
